In the red corner we have - Bronies:
Sent multiple death threats to a person for complaining about unintended ableist connotations in one scene, as well as drawings of that person drooling in a wheelchair.
Purposefully harassed the creator of the show by making heavily fetishized imagery of her after she specifically requested not to be involved, as well as berating her for not wanting to see it in the first place.
Have a fandom half based around the mutual enjoyment of a show, but half based around gender bashing, mostly aimed towards females. Actually tried to seriously enforce the idea that if a man doesn’t like the show that he isn’t a true male and must be insecure. Bonus points for missing the tremendous levels of irony in that statement and insinuating that to actually accept femininity instead of turning into something more ‘macho’ is considered weak.
Have complete disregard for the fact that they are not the target market for a show and feel the studio continuously owes them for changing scenes or putting the ‘wrong name’ on a $5 boxed toy, even though they get heads up from the creators in the show and have voice actors visit conventions.

And in the blue corner we have - Homestuck:
Spat in bucket.

You’re implying homestucks have never acted like idiots. At all.
